Getwell's vision is to partner with the family in laying down a spiritual foundation that, in God's timing, will lead kids into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

We exist to help children experience their faith in three areas: Wonder, Discovery & Passion.
We focus on the Discovery of God by teaching three basic truths:
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

The Biggest Story. All of our kids birth - 5th grade are on a 2 year journey through the Bible together through a curriculum called "The Biggest Story" The Biggest Story leads readers on an exciting journey through the Bible, from the garden of Eden to the return of Christ. This fun curriculum based on the book draws kids into Scripture and helps them grasp its overarching message of redemption. Our goal is for the children to understand that the entire Bible is centered on JESUS, with every story intricately connected to the gospel message. Parents are encouraged to follow along with the videos available at The Biggest Story - For Families. Each lesson reveals the God who created the world, acted in history, and continues to be active today.

SUNDAYS:
Power Hour: From 9:30 – 10:30AM
Kids Church: From 11AM-12PM

WEDNESDAYS (during the school year):
Classes/Activities: 6-7:15PM

A safe place for kids who are not yet walking and talking. During this time, our rained servant leaders will take care of your babies with love. Our goal is to partner alongside parents in creating a spiritual foundation in their kids' lives.

A safe place for kids who are walking and talking through PreK. During this time, our trained servant leaders will take care of your kids by loving them, teaching them about Jesus, and encouraging them. Our goal is to partner with parents in creating a spiritual foundation in the lives of their kids.

A safe place for kids in grades K-2nd where our trained servant leaders engage kids in activities, discussion and prayer based on the week's scripture lesson. We are eager to love, pray for and encourage these kids in their spiritual foundation while partnering alongside parents.

Kids in 3rd-5th grades will experience a safe place to be engaged by our servant leaders in activities, prayer and a deeper discussion based on the week's lesson found in scripture. Through discussion, kids get to dive deeper into the lesson and into scripture by becoming more curious about who God is. We strive to partner with parents in building a strong foundation of faith in the lives of their kids.

Getwell Church is excited to have a ministry designed specifically for kids with challenges that prevent them from being able to learn in the regular classroom setting. We believe that all God's children need to have a safe environment at church where they can learn about Jesus! In addition to our Special Needs Ministry Director, Carla Respess, we have a great team of servant leaders who either work with kids with special needs outside the church or have a passion for working with them.

SENSORY ROOMS
There are two Sensory Rooms at Getwell dedicated to kids with special needs - the Nursery Ministry Sensory Room for kids birth-preschool age and the Children's Ministry Sensory Room for kids ages kindergarten to preteen.
