A Simple Christmas: Week 3 (Southaven)

The Christmas story continues as the angel, Gabriel, prepares Mary for her coming pregnancy. She is immediate afraid and “troubled,” not knowing what this will mean for her life. She is surrounded by turmoil in her nation and community, and now she is facing turmoil in her own life. With the future uncertain, she is encouraged to know that God’s plan is good—it is for good for the world and good for her. Even without understanding or knowing what to expect, she is able to have peace knowing that God is in control.
